When you hire me, you get a professionally designed book layout and a professionally organized approach. Here are the 5 simple steps of our work towards the best book layout to tell your story.
Step 1 – Learning the subject
At this time we get to know each other. Me, You, and your Book. Is your book a novel? A textbook? What’s the subject? For your convenience, you can fill in a form with the initial information, and we will discuss it further. We can do that either by email, phone, or a personal meeting, whichever suits you best.
Step 2 – The scope and the quote
After the initial acquaintance with your book, you will send me the manuscript, as well as all the additional elements which need to be included in the design. After agreeing on the final scope of the work to be done I will email you the exact price.
Step 3 – The creative process
This step is the heart of the process. I start with doing the research on competing books, and creating the design concept. I then organize the text, do some scribbling and sketching, choose the fonts and images, and correct the images if necessary. At the end of this step I create 1-3 initial page layouts for you to choose from.
Step 4 – Applying the layout
Once you chose the layout and we finalized the details I will apply it to the manuscript and send you the complete book in a PDF format for proofing via email. You will send me the corrections and changes, should there be any, and I will email you back the corrected work. We will continue this step until you are fully satisfied with the result. Step 5 – Wrapping up
After the final version of the work has been approved, your interior book design will be either sent to you in a print ready PDF format, or sent directly to your publisher, whichever you choose.

You only have several seconds to catch your potential reader’s eye. The cover of your book is the ultimate marketing tool for that and you can’t afford cutting corners on this one. With these 4 simple steps we will together create a cover which will make your book stand out.
Step 1 – Getting acquainted
We will schedule a meeting or a phone/skype call to discuss your book and all the features that you want the cover to deliver. Beyond the subject of the book, it is important to understand the demographics of the potential readers you would like to appeal to. We will also examine your preferences and how you imagine your book. After gathering all the information, I will create 1-3 initial layouts for you to choose from, each will include the spine and back cover+text.
Step 2 – The Cover Finalized
After you choose the cover layout we finalize the design, should you have any corrections and/or changes.
Step 3 – Getting Ready to Print
When we have the final approved version of the cover/spine/back of your book, I prepare the design for print according to the requirements of your publisher.
Step 4 – Sending the Product
The completed design is sent to your email in a printer ready format, or directly to your publisher, whichever you prefer.
